We are about to find out who Italy will play in the Euro 2020 final if the Azzurri make it there.

As much as it could be another exciting day at Euro 2020, there’s this piece of information: After all of the madness, the craziness and unpredictable results that have taken place over the last three weeks, this is the last day that we will see multiple games played on the same day. From here on out, you’re going to get one game a day, and that’s it.

There won’t be any Juventus players taking the field today.

But there is most certainly the chance for some more of the craziness that we’ve seen at this tournament. Why? Because that’s just what Euro 2020 continues to provide all of us with — and we are thankful for that.

Today’s schedule:

  • Czech Republic vs. Denmark
  • England vs. Ukraine

So maybe outside of England — and, let us not forget, England still has yet to go full England in this tournament, so watch out — we didn’t expect the three other teams playing today to make it to the quarterfinals. Yet one of Denmark and the Czech Republic will be in the Euro 2020 semifinals. Ukraine, with an upset win, could there as well.

That just screams Euro 2020 in a nutshell, doesn’t it?

Maybe we’ll have to find out how to say “It’s coming home, lads!” in Ukrainian. You never know. This tournament has certainly taught us to expect the unexpected pretty much every time we sit down to watch a game or two.
