Juventus return to domestic action having kept their Champions League 100% record intact with a hard fought win over Chelsea midweek, with a Turin derby on the cards this weekend.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri will want to duplicate that form domestically and after two consecutive league wins, tomorrow is the perfect opportunity to make it three in a row.

“Tomorrow, the fans return to the stadium and it will be a good game. We have to fix the ranking, we have a chance. We still need to adjust the table, not to fix it completely.

“It will be the game of their life, it’s a derby and Torino will be preparing it in the best way. We need to do the same and prepare it even better than the one against Chelsea. It will be even more difficult.

“These games are like little finals, we need to take another small step forward, it’s not easy. It will be a different game than the one against Chelsea. Torino run a lot, Ivan Juric is doing a great job and he’s passed his ideas to his team. It will be a complicated game, we’ll need to have patience and be able to play our game for 95 minutes.”

The coach went on to name two players who would be starting, as well as praising Federico Chiesa who has been in scintillating form this season.

“Wojciech Szczesny and Giorgio Chiellini will play for sure. Without Morata and Dybala, we saw that Chiesa can play as a centre forward.

“The game against Chelsea was a good one, but we need something else tomorrow, we need a different game. Torino play man-on-man and we’ll need to face them properly.”

A lot of the Bianconeri’s woes domestically has been due to defensive breakdowns, and Allegri wants to see his players display the siege mentality they reveled in against Chelsea.

“Chelsea kept the ball possession and we made some technical mistakes making their life easier.

“We must understand that if we kept that defensive attitude for 70 minutes, we can do it for 20 minutes too. It doesn’t matter how long you defend, but the attitude must not change.”

Despite a number of injuries over the last few weeks, reinforcements could be on the way in the form of Arthur and Kaio Jorge.

“Arthur trained with the team yesterday. Perhaps he and Kaio will be available tomorrow. We may need Arthur during the game, he is a technical player and he could help us.”
