Juventus unveiled a player they had officially signed last season, but returned to Parma on loan for the now-concluded 2019-20 season. Dejan Kulusevski, a former Atalanta player, had his time today in the media limelight taking the Allianz Stadium tour and addressing a brief press conference.
The 20-year-old is raring to go after a landmark season for the Gialloblu where he scored 10 times and picked up 9 assists from his advanced right wing position. Juve open the season at home against Sampdoria on Sunday, and Kulusevski is hoping to get an opportunity to play.
“Sunday is a very important match and I’m very happy that we are finally playing, I’m ready to play should the coach pick me, I can’t wait.
“I’m here to improve on and off the pitch. I’m here to win games, help my teammates and make the city happy. I’m lucky to be here, I want to win the championship and every game we play.”
When asked what it was like training with the stars at the Bianconeri, and specifically Cristiano Ronaldo, Kulusevski gushed about the superstar.
“Cristiano is fantastic, he’s very nice. He talks to everyone, even about things off the pitch.
“His words are like petrol, I’m lucky to play with him and I hope I can help him.
“Every day is a war, you must always be at 100 per cent. You can’t come to the pitch and not be concentrated because everyone would notice immediately.
“I think I can give them energy; I want to have fun when I enter the pitch. I run a lot and I will do everything to help my team win.”

Kulusevski, admitted that former Juve player and countryman Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave him a call after he joined Juventus.
“He was my idol, he opened doors in Sweden that no one had ever opened.
“We talked, he called me, and it was exciting for me. When I was little, I never though Zlatan would call me.”
