The Old Lady Speaks Podcast, Special Edition: Blog Boys, Part II

It’s the international break, so we decided to bring in a couple of friends of the blog to help you all kill some time before Juventus plays again.

The blog boys are back in town.

The SBN Italia roundtable has assembled again as we sit here in the middle of the first international break of the 2020-21 Serie A season. And leave it to Italy’s top league to give us plenty to talk about even though there isn’t actually any games taking place both this past week and the next few days before Serie A starts back up again. That meant that yours truly (Danny), Bren from Chiesa Di Totti and Tito from Viola Nation were able to jump around from topic to topic without all that much difficulty at all.

There was talk of the recently completed transfer window.

There was talk about Federico Chiesa considering one third of this podcast episode has seen a whole lot more of him play than a lot of us have.

There was talk about the Juventus-Napoli match that never happened. Based off of that, there was talk about just what kind of issues Serie A faces now that there are a handful of teams dealing with COVID-19 cases amongst their players.

And, of course, there were overall thoughts about the early stages of the Serie A and Serie A Femminile seasons.

You can listen to Viola Nation’s podcast, Viola Station, here. You can listen/subscribe to Chiesa Di Totti’s brand new podcast, Across the Romaverse, here.

Most important of all, you can listen to this very special episode of The Old Lady Speaks here:
