The long, winding road that has been Adrien Rabiot’s next destination after deciding to not sign a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain has reached its end point.
And it’s in a black and white world in a city called Turin.
For the second time in as many days, J Medical had a soon-to-be Juventus signee walk through its doors, give the thumbs up as he posed for pictures and go through his medical exams. On Sunday morning it was Luca Pellegrini, whose move from Roma in exchange for Leonardo Spinazzola became official just before midnight in Turin. Come Monday morning, it was Rabiot stepping out of a stylish black Jeep — this is not a paid message — and heading into J Medical to put the finishing touches on his move to Juventus.

Rabiot, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain officially expired on Sunday, arrived in Turin over the weekend in advance of his medical exams and contract signing. The 24-year-old Frenchman will be putting pen to paper on a five-year deal worth a reported €7 million a season. It has also reported that Rabiot’s agent — who’s also his mother — has negotiated a signing bonus worth €10 million, making this another one of Juve’s free transfers that doesn’t exactly come at no cost.
Regardless, this ends what has been a transfer that has been many, many months in the making since Juventus were first linked to Rabiot.
And soon said transfer will be official, with Juventus’ summer transfer campaign really starting to kick into gear now that the players they’ve been linked to for weeks now actually showing up in Turin to sign their new contracts.
That’s pretty sweet, if you ask me.
