There will be, at some point soon, a meeting between Juventus president Andrea Agnelli and manager Max Allegri. That’s some BWRAO or Italian media speculation. It’s something we’ve heard from Allegri plenty of times over the last month, and it’s something Agnelli has said in recent weeks as well.
The main topic of discussion will obviously be Allegri’s future at the club, one that the Juve front office continues to say will involve the man who has led them to the last Serie A titles since taking over for Antonio Conte coming back to try and make it six in a row.
But, as Tuttosport has laid out in its main cover story on Sunday morning, the Allegri-Agnelli summit will also involve plans for next season — and that means transfer rumors.
Tuttosport. Transfer rumors. Get ya popcorn ready, folks.

In case you can’t read the rather small text below the massive “ALLEGRI-AGNELLI” headline, here’s the six players that Tuttosport thinks Allegri will be asking Agnelli and the club to sign this summer.
- Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba
- Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot
- Ajax center back Matthijs De Ligt
- Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele
- Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco
- Bayern Munich midfielder James Rodriguez
Totally conceivable, right?
At least five out of the six options are midfielders, though. So, at the very least, Tuttosport can recognize what we all can recognize — Juventus’ midfield still needs a lot of work.
Some of these names that Tuttosport have laid out there — and it’s not the first time they have done that, either, mind you that — make more sense than other. Juve’s midfield lacks a star signing, and Pogba would certainly be that. Juve’s defense needs to get younger, and de Ligt would certainly be just that.
All of them are not going to be signed by Juventus this summer. Hell, none of them could arrive this summer for all we know. But after a summer of 2018 where Tuttosport nailed the Cristiano Ronaldo-to-Juventus story, I guess this is sort of a heat check of sorts.
And when it comes to saying that these are the names that Allegri and Agnelli will talk about, it’s not like it’s the first time any of those six names will have been linked to Juventus. So, in a way, it’s just another Tuttosport round of rumors but with the whole Allegri staying on as manager thing being tied in as the reason why there’s potential transfers being talked about. Good times.
