From the best of my knowledge, there is not a rule in the Juventus transfer handbook that says the club must go for a talented Italian winger from Fiorentina by the first name of “Federico.” However, we’ve seen Juventus already bring one Fede from Florence, and the Italian media — or least the biggest sports outlet in Turin — seems to believe Fabio Paratici is going to be heading back for more.
According to Tuttosport on Monday, Juventus aren’t just interested in Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa. They’re already putting an offer on the table. What does that involve, perhaps? Well, it’s more than what Federico Bernardeschi cost two summers ago (€40 million plus another €5 million in potential bonuses). To try and lure Fiorentina’s current star by the name of Federico to Turin, Juventus has
Fiorentina, on the other hand, view Chiesa as being worth upwards of €70 million. Therefore, Paratici — whose got a massively-important summer of roster building in front of him — will try to get that €70 million figure down by inserting current Bologna winger and Juve loanee Riccardo Orsolini
So, to recap, Juventus’ offer for Chisea: €50 million plus Riccardo Orsolini.

This could just be Tuttosport being Tuttosport, which is a very good possibility this time of year. (Or any time of year, for that matter.) But, we’ll entertain their current transfer rumor instead of re-hashing anything else about Juventus’ 2-0 loss to Roma this past weekend.
Tuttosport has deemed that Juventus’ interest in Chiesa is only continuing to intensify, with the 21-year-old winger now reportedly Juve’s top priority this summer. (I would go for a really, really good midfield, but that’s just me, guys.) And part of the reason why Tuttosport thinks Chiesa would consider a move to a bigger club — he’s also been linked with Inter Milan and Bayern Munich in recent weeks — is because of the complete uncertainty of what’s going on at Fiorentina right now. (Which, from a far seems anything like a positive stable situation — a season that our friends at Viola Nation are calling “deeply dissatisfying” as their favorite club currently sits in 14th place.)
The destabilization of the current Fiorentina squad and a management situation that seems anything but certain heading into the summer could very well work in Juve’s favor. That’s if Chiesa states to the Della Valle family that he wants to go to a bigger club come June or July.
