It was rather convenient when this little tidbit of information was published on Saturday.
You see, right after Emre Can’s current team, Liverpool, unveiled its starting lineup for the Champions League final against Real Madrid — one that he was not a part of, by the way — Sport Mediaset came out with a report that involved what many believe will be where the German midfielder will be playing his football come next season.
Can. Juventus. Medical on Monday.
That’s what Sport Mediaset is telling us — and now we officially return to Can Watch 2018.
emre can nuovo giocatore della Juve. Lunedì firma e visite mediche a torino @juventusfc

For all we know, this could very well be one of those things where we hear that Can’s medical with Juventus is on a certain day for the next two or three weeks. It could be this upcoming Monday, it could be on a random Monday in the middle of June, it could at the end of the month. I don’t really know, you don’t really know. That’s just how this whole Can deal has gone over the last few months.
But, there are two things working in Juve’s favor as they try to close this deal:
- Liverpool’s season is now officially over.
- Can doesn’t have international duty to occupy his time this summer.
Beppe Marotta seems to be pretty optimistic that a deal for Can can be completely within the next week or so. Maybe that’s because Can is heading to Turin after Liverpool gets back from Kiev this weekend and will be at JMedical in the not-so-distant future.
If anybody would know what’s up with the Can deal, it’s one of the main guys negotiating it.
