THE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!

Juventus v Tottenham Hotspur - UEFA Champions League Round of 16: First Leg Photo by Michael Regan/Getty Images

We said it before the first leg of the Round of 16 and we’ll see it again now: This could be Juventus’ final home game in the Champions League this season, it may not be. I most certainly hope that it isn’t, but the reality is that it could very well be.

And with that, welcome to the first leg of Juventus’ quarterfinal tie against Real Madrid.

The road to Kyiv went through Turin a couple of weeks ago, and it’s made its way back to the black and white side of the city again tonight.

HEY, DID YOU HEAR THIS IS A REMATCH OF LAST SEASON’S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL? BECAUSE I’M SURE NOBODY HAS BROUGHT THAT UP OVER THE LAST 24 HOURS.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of our system...

We pray for Juventus?

We pray for our health?

We pray for our health because of Juventus?

We just go sit in the corner and in the fetal position yet still have a decent view of the television while we try and watch?

No matter the situation or prayers said before the game, this is Juventus’ biggest game of the season and there’s no way around it. They can either set themselves up for a dynamite of a second leg in Madrid next week, or they can see their lengthy unbeaten run at home come to an end with one fell swoop.

Juventus can control its own destiny here. Or it can at least put itself in position to control its own destiny in the second leg come next week.

What fun there could maybe be at Allianz Stadium tonight, my friends.

Let us pray for Juventus. Let us pray for a Juventus win, too.
