Here we are. The Champions League is back in our lives for one day and one day only ... until the next day arrives in two weeks’ time.
But tonight we get Juventus-Valencia, a game in Group H that could either see a group leader advance to the Champions League knockout rounds with a1 positive result or the group absolutely thrown for a complete loop if the visitors come away with a win.
I think I know which way I want things to go.
I think I know which way a lot of other folks around here want things to go.
Juventus needs one point to advance to the Round of 16 of Europe’s premier club competition, ensuring their month of December will include a Champions League and that the middle weeks of February will see the competition resume in Turin.
One point needed.
Just one single point to guarantee that Juventus will be playing Champions League football come the new year.
And, just in case you needed it, there’s a Juve-Valencia hype video. Enjoy.
