Coppa Italia Game Time Thread: Juventus vs. Torino

Derby della Mole time, everybody!

While we’ve gotten used to seeing Juventus win Scudetto after Scudetto the last six years, the same can nearly be said when it comes to the club playing for that season’s Coppa Italia. They’ve won it three years in a row, been in the Coppa Italia final each season even longer than that.

It’s become almost a party that goes along with the main party every spring.

We’re still a bit of time from that Coppa Italia-themed party. But when it comes to making sure that party does end up happening, Juventus need to get there once again. That latest step comes in the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia against a rather familiar opponent from a city we know a few things about as well.

It’s Juventus vs. Torino.

It’s the Derby della Mole with a Coppa Italia twist.

We’ve seen it before, and we’re about to see it again, with the victor getting a spot in the Coppa Italia semifinals as the prize for beating their rivals from across Turin.

I sure do hope that this Coppa Italia game ends up being like so many of the ones from the past. Maybe even like the last time Juve and Torino played in the Coppa Italia. That sure was fun!
