It appears as though it’s the time of the transfer window where the offloading happens. Players were given their chance to earn their spot during preseason, and now the final cuts to the team (in a way) will be made. Yesterday saw Mario Lemina join Southampton for a relatively large sum, marking the first sale of a rotation player, aside from Neto.
With two wingers brought in, and an adjustment to a midfield of two looking likely, it only makes sense that Juventus would be looking to cut down the amount of central midfielders available to them. Additionally, with Rodrigo Bentancur impressing in preseason, it seems like he may have actually won the job of staying with the team as a rotation piece, though that remains to be seen.
Rincon has seemingly lost his spot, and Gianluca Di Mario is reporting that a deal with the cross-town rivals, Torino, is in the works. From his website:
From one part of the city to another, only changing jersey without moving too far. Rincon to Torino is missing very little. It is at the details between the Granata and Juventus. The only part that is missing is the "yes" from the player and Torino President Cairo is counting on getting it in the next few hours. Rincon could be ready to start another chapter in his career.
Obviously the translator isn’t perfect, but you get the idea. According to GDM (who isn’t wrong about much this time of year), Rincon will be moving on from Juventus very soon, after a very short stay here.
