Juventus will look to make history when it plays Lazio on Sunday in the Supercoppa Italiana at Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Since 2012, Juve have gone 3-2 in the match with its two losses coming on penalty kicks. With its three most recent wins, The Old Lady has elevated itself into a tie with AC Milan for the most Supercoppa titles at seven.
The Suppercoppa is contested by the Serie A and Coppa Italia winners, but since Juve won both for the third straight year, Lazio, the Coppa Italia runner-up, will play in the Suppercoppa. The two sides have matched up against each other for the trophy on three occasions with Juve holding a 2-1 edge in the series. Lazio won the first meeting in 1998 with a 2-1 victory then Juve shut out The Eagles 4-0 and 2-0 in 2013 and 2015, respectively.
