As this is being typed out, Juventus players and coaches are likely sitting on a nice airplane with plenty of leg room and on their way to New York. Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sami Khedira are probably talking about the latter’s trip to Mallorca. Mario Mandzukic is being, well, Mario Mandzukic. It’s a festive kind of atmosphere on the Juve flight to the Big Apple.

And now we know who’s actually going to be there.

Max Allegri has named just about everybody you’d expect to be on the flight from Turin to New York. The Three Musketeers of Mandzukic, Khedira and Lichtsteiner are there. Gigi Buffon, Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli and Claudio Marchisio are all there. Summer signings Douglas Costa and Mattia De Sciglio are there, too.

The full list is as follows:

Portieri: Buffon, Szczesny, Pinsoglio, Del Favero

Difensori: Alex Sandro, Barzagli, Benatia, Chiellini, Coccolo, De Sciglio, Lichsteiner

Centrocampisti: Asamoah, Bentancur, Caligara, Khedira, Lemina, Mandragora, Marchisio, Pjanic, Rincon, Sturaro

Attaccanti: Cuadrado, Douglas Costa, Dybala, Higuain, Kean, Mandzukic

As you have probably figured out by now, Juve’s Latin America contingent outside of Douglas Costa have been training in the United States the last few days and will meet up with the rest of the crew upon their arrival.

And as you have also probably noticed there’s one name that isn’t on the traveling squad list for the International Champions Cup. That would be Daniele Rugani, who is still on his post Under-21 European Championship holiday.

Juventus open up play in the International Champions Cup on Saturday against some team they beat in the quarterfinals of the Champions League named Barcelona. Kickoff at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey is scheduled for 6 p.m. local time.
