Unless you’re like me and are getting your footy fix by watching Toronto FC during the summer (1st place, by the way - just saying), the Confederations Cup offers you the best chance to watch some games in what is almost always a long and boring off-season.
This thread will be used as your one stop for all of your Confederations Cup needs. We will use it as a gamethread to discuss the games, lineups, standings, and Juventus players will of course be zeroed in on with additional focus.
Group A finishes up today at 11:00am EST.

Mexico and Portugal sit on top with 4 points, while Russia has 3 and New Zealand have one. Tie-breaker rules here.
Italy U21 plays Germany at 2:45pm EST. From the UEFA website:
Italy (3 pts) are guaranteed first place if they beat Germany and the Czechs do not win. If the Czechs do win, the Azzurri can still top the section on goals scored if they beat Germany by a two-goal margin while also scoring at least three (3-1, 4-2). They cannot finish as best runners-up as in the only scenario in which they can come second, their overall goal difference would be inferior to Slovakia's.
Enjoy.
