Juventus lead! Gonzalo Higuain has finished off a great team goal for Juve that’s given them a 1-0 lead and a vital away goal against AS Monaco. After about a half of an hour of feeling each other out, the deadlock was finally broken by a beautiful move that originated from midfield with a clever back heel flick from Paulo Dybala and ended with Dani Alves setting up Higuain for a great side-footed finish to open the scoring. It’s a lovely way to get on the board and hopefully they can’t keep the advantage the rest of the way without conceding.
This doesn't remotely do the Juventus goal justice, but not a bad nine-pass sequence there. pic.twitter.com/pfTnlSjSW7

The goal was the product of a nine-pass sequence that began on the other side of the field. Quite impressive stuff.

He’s done it again! Higuain has scored again to extend Juve’s lead to 2-0 and score another crucial away goal. He met a floated cross to the far post in the 60th minute with a perfect sliding finish to double the lead. What a performance.
