It’s that time of year, folks. While Juventus are busy fighting on all three fronts and trying to win as much silverware as possible, people — mainly me — are hopelessly scouring the internet looking for any clues or images of what our boys in black and white will be wearing next year.

Luckily for us, our friends over at the ever reliable La Maglia Bianconera on Twitter (@la_bianconera) are usually the first to provide us with some insight on the matter.

Here is a leaked image of the home kit for next season:

Footyheadlines.com have been able to dissect the images that La Maglia Bianconera have provided and give us some more insight on our classic black and white strip.

“Staying true to its roots, the Juventus 17-18 shirt will feature black and white stripes. Compared to the current Juventus jersey, the Adidas Juventus 2017-18 kit will have thinner stripes, adding up to around nine stripes across the front instead of five. The back of the Juventus 2017-2018 jersey will at least feature a black block for player names and numbers and might even be completely black.”

“Apart from that, the Juventus 17-18 kit is expected to have stripes sleeves again, while the omnipresent Adidas stripes are set to return to their original position on the shoulders. To complete the design, subtle splashes of gold are set to form part of the Juventus 2017-2018 home shirt. Another rumour is that the Jeep logo on the chest could be applied less obtrusively.”

The conclusion of that quote is a big one for me, as I have often clamored for the removal of the big black block behind the jeep logo on our home jersey. It was always perplexing for me as Juventus always had the Jeep logo as a standalone on the Away and Third jerseys but on the jersey which needed a little more simplicity (due to our stripes) it was never applied.

The away jersey this season sees the return of the yellow and blue that we have seen so many times before in the past, but this season it comes with a creative twist. Below is a picture of the rumored designs of the pinstriped jersey designed based on the colors of the Torino Coat of Arms and Flag.

Lastly, the third jersey this season saw Juventus (in collaboration) with Adidas hold a fan vote to determine the teams third kit for the 17/18 campaign. The only requirement for all those who submitted artwork was the military green base color. Footyheadlines has released this image which appears to be the design that La Maglia Bianconera themselves designed for the third kit.

Based on the green kit below worn in the 40s-50s, I do believe based on some of the images and fan work that made the top 100 that this was definitely one of the top three designs available, and its ability to draw on our history while being constrained to the military green was a nice tough in my opinion.

I always like to stress that nothing is official until Juve presents these on stage, but we can rest assured that Footyheadlines and La Maglia Bianconera are right more often than not. What do you think? Leave a comment below.
