It took a while, but Higuain is back. Goals like the ones he scored against Milan are the reason that you buy an elite finisher. There’s much debate about whether Higuain has been the elite finisher that he was brought in to be, but for at least one night, he surely reminded us that he can be.

Higuain’s brace and incredible goals earned him 82% net upvotes, a top 10 single-game performance on the season. That’s 4 positive performances in the row, enough to say he’s in a good run of form. The big performance puts him 14th on the team overall,

Second place went to Giorgio Chiellini who received 71% of upvotes, thanks to his good performance in the clean sheet. Third place went to his partner in Daniele Rugani with 63% of votes, and fourth to the goalkeeper Buffon with 62% positive votes.

Sami Khedira had the second worst numbers on the night at -4%. He needs to step up or he may become a substitute in bigger games sooner rather than later. He’s 19th on the team overall for the season.

The weakest performer was again, Stephan Lichtsteiner at -23%. That’s 3 in a row for The Swiss Express. He hasn’t had a positive performance since the Turin Derby. He needs to play better, no other way to put it. He’s 21st overall on the team this season, falling below Stefano Sturaro.

Thanks for voting, be sure to play again tonight.
