After a long break from Juventus game action, it’s nice to get two fixtures within such close proximity of one another. After Sunday night’s win over Bologna, Juventus will host Atalanta in the Coppa Italia Round of 16 on Wednesday night.
As usual, a game in the Coppa could be a good chance for fringe and/or reserve players to prove their worth for future starting spots. While Tomas Rincon made his Juventus debut against Bologna, it would be nice to see him get a large amount of minutes to show what he can do. It would also nice to see Marko Pjaca back in action after a long injury layoff. Buffon may or may not be available, but it may be a good time to give Neto another game after his clean sheet (2 saves per W/S) performance against Bologna.
Atalanta is no pushover this season, though, as they currently sit in sixth place in the league table, but only three points behind third-place Napoli. Juventus has already beat them this season, claiming a 3-1 win on Dec. 3 at Juventus Stadium.
All things considered, who would you like to see start on Wednesday night?
