A lot of Juventus’ January transfer window has involved the young players that are either brought to the club or head out on loan for a six-month stint to close out the 2016-17 season. That’s just how it’s worked out, folks, with Beppe Marotta’s words of Juve’s transfer market being over standing relatively firm.

However, as is always the case, the final day of the transfer window always brings something to talk about. And this, courtesy of Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, certainly involves one of Juventus’ brightest young talents and is therefore something to talk about. Read on:

Crotone is searching for an attacker. First, the club attempted to acquire Simone Andrea Ganz, but were rejected by Verona. Now, the club has requested Kean from Juventus. If a deal were to be completed, the young attacker would likely arrive on loan.

Kean, who has been reportedly close to signing his first professional contract with Juventus ever since he started getting regular first team call-ups earlier this season, has been a complete star in the Juve youth academy the last year or two. At the tender age of 16, Kean has been playing at the primavera level against players two, three or four years his senior — and showing just what kind of explosive physical talent he has. In 11 games in all competitions for Juve’s primavera squad this season, Kean has nine goals and four assists.

Kean is going to be on a Serie A roster very soon, one would think — whether it’s Juventus’ or on loan somewhere else. There’s no denying that. The kid is on the fast track and there’s only so much competition the primavera level can provide him at this point.
