How should Juventus line up in Sunday night’s showdown against Fiorentina?

Who should start against La Viola?

After a shaky finish to Wednesday night’s 3-2 victory against Atalanta in the Coppa Italia Round of 16, Juventus jumps right back into action on Sunday. They will be taking on Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence in their return to league action.

Fiorentina sits innine place in the league standings entering the weekend, slightly behind where they would hope to finish. They do have a game in hand over eighth-place Torino, and a win would propel La Viola ahead of Toro. They don’t score a ton, nor concede a ton of goals. Lots of middling for this team so far this season. The last time these teams met was the first game of the season, which saw Juve victorious in a 2-1 effort. Sami Khedira and Gonzalo Higuain were the goal scorers on that occasion.

Stephan Lichtsteiner is suspended for this match, which leaves the right sided defense options thin with Dani Alves still out injured . Alex Sandro, Leonardo Bonucci and Gianluigi Buffon returned to the squad against Atalanta, so it should be assumed that they will be ready to go for this one.

Juventus’ next game comes a week from Sunday against Lazio.

All things considered, who would you pick to start the game on Sunday against Fiorentina? Remember, this is what YOU think the lineup should be, not what you think Max Allegri should do.
