Here's what to know about Juventus for the drawing:
- They're in Pot 1, alongside reigning Champions League winners Real Madrid and champions of the top seven associations based on their 2015 UEFA country coefficients. .
- They cannot be drawn against any Italian side in the group stage.
- Each of the eight groups will contain one team from each pot, while no group can contain more than one side from a single country.
Based on this criteria, Juventus is left with 24 potential opponents in the group stage as Italian side Napoli sits in Pot 2. There's a bevy of options including facing last year's runner-up Atletico Madrid.
Last year, Juventus had Manchester City, Sevilla and Borussia Mönchengladbach in its group. The four sides won't be put together again with Manchester City and Sevilla both in Pot 2.
Best case scenario: Bayer Leverkusen, Club Brugge and Ludogorets Razgrad.
Worse case scenario: Atletico Madrid, PSV Eindhoven and Celtic/Monaco
Following a runner-up finish in 2015 to Barcelona, Juventus fell to Bayern in the round of 16 last year after taking second-place in Group D to Man City. Juventus last won its group in 2013.
