Juventus names 2016 International Champions Cup squad

Gianluigi Buffon and Paul Pogba are among Juventus players who will not play in the International Champions Cup exhibitions as manager Massimiliano Allegri has decided to rest players who participated in the European Championships.

Juventus will play against Melbourne Victory on July 23 and Tottenham on July 26 before kicking off against South China on July 23 in Hong Kong.

Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Stefano Sturaro, Simone Zaza will all skip the friendlies after reaching the quarterfinals of Euro 2016, only to fall to Germany on penalty kicks. German midfielder Sami Khedira, Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic, Swiss full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner and French left-back Patrice Evra also did not make the trip Down Under.

Claudio Marchisio is recovering from a knee injury and Dani Alves, who was acquired from Barcelona on a free transfer, will also not play.
