Three Juventus players have stepped onto the field in France and made their respective Euro 2016 debuts. Come Sunday, another two players who just so happen to be two major factors in one of the best Juventus videos you'll ever see will try and lead their respective countries to wins in their opening games.
It's Mario Manduzkic. It's Sami Khedira. There will be a Juventus player opening the day's action, there will be a Juventus player captaining his country in the day's final game.
Mandzukic and Croatia will open the day against Turkey in Paris, while Captain Khedira and Germany wrap up Sunday's three-game set with a matchup against Ukraine. There's also Poland vs. Northern Ireland to be played between the two, but since there's no Juve players taking part in the day's middle match, then we'll just concentrate on each end of the bookend.
Germany are obviously one of the favorites to win the tournament. Croatia, meanwhile, have all of their big guns — Mandzukic, Luca Modric, Ivan Rakitic and Mateo Kovacic — healthy and ready to roll against an in-form Turkey side that is obviously looking to do some kind of damage in a group with the defending European champions Spain, who open up their group stage set of games on Monday.
So, now that we've got Euro 2016 in full swing, we can try and see our favorite Juve players try and do a thing or two at the international level. It may not be a full-on Juventus day, but there's certainly some representation. Hey, I guess we should get used to that considering how many Juventus players are taking part in this tournament, huh?
