The news of Paulo Dybala joining Juventus isn't breaking news by any means. We've heard reports and rumors out of Italy for weeks now. We've heard Palermo's manager confirm the move was happening. We've even heard the player himself thank Palermo and say he can't wait to be a Juventus player.
So, when it comes to suspense, this one pretty much ranks on the low end on a 1-to-10 scale.
Now we can talk about Dybala being a Juventus player — officially.
Dybala's move from Sicily to Turin now an actual thing. Dybala has taken his medical days ago, with all those funny things strapped to his chest, put pen to paper on his five-year contract and posed for the appropriate pictures to signify that he's a Juventus player. Yep, it's all official now — although we're still waiting on the jersey number he will be wearing next season.
Juventus Football Club can announce that an agreement has been reached with Palermo for the services of Paulo Dybala, who has signed a five-year contract.
A fee of €32 million, payable over four years, has been agreed, with a potential extra €8 million to be added on if certain performance-related targets are met.
Ah, official word. Feels good, man. Feels real, real good.
