Game Time Thread: Juventus vs. Carpi

To channel my inner Francis Albert Sinatra, "In 2015, it was a very good year. It was very good year, for young boys from Turin who wear black and white jerseys..." (I know it's not perfect and definitely not on pitch, but just roll with me here, people.)

Whether you wanna sing it or do something else entirely, in just a short amount of time, Juventus will be making their final appearance of the 2015 calendar year. The destination is a new one for our beloved bianconeri, as they head out to Carpi for the first time ever in club history. One team has been a mainstay in Serie A ever since it made its name, the other is struggling to get out of the relegation zone in their first-ever season in Italy's top flight.

Can Juventus finish the calendar year with a win?

Go back in time a little bit and remember that it started out pretty well and only got better as the second half of last season went on. Now, as Juventus starts to hit its stride as New Year's Even 2015 arrives, Juve look to close the month of December on a positive note once more. The rise from relegation zone to mid of the table to now fourth place has been quite the ride quickly up the table.

And against one of the worse teams in Italy's top flight, the chance to continue the good times going — and this quick and rapid rise up the table — is a distinct possibility.

That would be a nice way to close out the calendar year of 2015. It has been a pretty, pretty good year, after all.
