Champions League Game Time Thread: Juventus vs. Borussia Monchengladbach

While the way the Champions League group stage is set up doesn't exactly give clubs much room for error to begin with, knowing that we're already halfway through the six-game schedule just magnifies that point. If you've started off the group stage slow, you gotta get back in the mix in a hurry. If you're top of the group, you've not gotta hold off the competition.

Borussia Monchengladbach is in the first camp. Juventus is in the second camp.

These two teams play against one another tonight.

Juventus' lead atop the group isn't as comfortable as it was when they saw Gladbach in Turin a few weeks ago. Nope, instead of having three points of cushion now there is all of one. And because of that, this game, which also sees the home side trying to fight out of the Group D cellar, just gets that more important. If Juventus picks up three points here, they enter their final two group stage games in really good position to advance to the knockout round. But if they fail to get points, they could very well see their first-place standing go to somebody else.

So, with that being said, how about a win today, Juventus? It sure would be nice to build off a win for once this season. I don't need to double check myself on that one.

Can we change that? I'd like to change that. Or, at least, not take a loss. So don't lose, Juventus.
