It's one of those things where you just want to say to yourself, "Ehhhh, that's just the Gazzetta being the Gazzetta." But with these sudden rumors linking Juve with one of the best strikers in the world, it's impossible to forget that Falcao is on absolutely insane wages at Monaco. Even if he were to cut his salary in half like the GdS has thrown out there, Falcao would still be Juventus' highest paid player. By a far margin, too.
It's those kinds of things that make it so hard to believe. Especially for a club like Juventus that is not exactly letting the cash fly around like a bunch of madmen this summer.
Hey, maybe Juventus are trying to sign Falcao on loan. Maybe they've called Monaco just to gauge the interest of doing something just in case Falcao did want to leave for some odd reason. I don't know. I wouldn't put it past the Juve management to at least check in on things. But I'm not sitting next to Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici as they discuss things of transfer market importance. I'm sure I'd have a few questions if I was in the Turin area and able to sit next to two of the men who make Juventus-related decisions.
Somebody just make it the month of September already. Sometimes these rumors are too good to be true.
