Oh, the World Cup is over? That's cool, we've got Juventus things to talk about. And not just the transfer market wheeling and dealing that Juve are doing at the moment. There's something else going on when the morning's paper hits the newsstands and driveways on Monday in Italy.
Like, ya know, talk about the squad reporting to preseason training.
Monday is the day we've been waiting for — Juventus returns to the field. Not to Juventus Stadium, but to the training ground in Vinovo as they prepare for the 2014-15 campaign. They won't be a complete group. It won't be the same squad that Antonio Conte calls up for their first Champions League group stage match. But the boys are (mostly) back in town, and that's a happy day.
The full list of 27 players that will meet in Vinovo on Monday morning is as follows:
Ahmed Gueye
Appelt
Audero
Barlocco
Buenacasa
Bouy
Buchel
Coman
Donis
Fiorillo
Giovinco
Liviero
Llorente
Marrone
Mattiello
Motta
Ogbonna
Padoin
Pepe
Rubinho
Slivka
Sorensen
Spinazzola
Storari
Tevez
Varga
Vitale
There are the expected omissions because of the World Cup. The likes of Buffon, Chiellini, Pogba, Pirlo, Vidal and all the others will be working their way back to Vinovo sporadically throughout the month of July. There are the names of players Juventus have brought in this summer — Luca Marrone and Kingsley Coman.
But there's one name missing — and it's not because of the World Cup. Yeah, no Fabio Quagliarella and his always beautiful tan and cleft chin. Is something is going down regarding his future, then this is only another example that it isn't with Juventus. Not that we didn't really expect anything else at this point, but it seems like it's only a matter of time before Quagliarella is holding up another team's jersey after an introductory press conference.
And aren't we lucky that Marco Motta is still around to take part in the beginning of another preseason training camp.
Guardando la finale del mondiale ma pensando al domani, abbiamo voglia di fare una grande stagione! #vamoss!

Yeah, it's time for Fernando to start twittering about the season again. How we've missed it, Nando. And can't wait to see you at the press conference tomorrow. Maybe he will talk about Martin Cáceres' "fashion sense" again.
