SB Nation's 2014 World Cup Final Preview

How bad can it get for Brazil? After getting beat by a collective score of 10-1 in their last two games and subsequently having an entire country turn against you, Brazil gets "rewarded" for their outstanding World Cup is to watch their bitter rivals potentially win it all at their most hallowed ground.

Ah, how sweet that would be.

But the one thing standing in Argentina's way? The German machine that is playing as well as they have in the tournament right now. The German Machine that absolutely took Brazil apart in the semifinal just a few days ago.

As they've been saying during the build up here on ESPN in the States, "It's Messi vs. The Machine." Hard to disagree with that the way things are going right now. Argentina haven't been the attacking force some might have thought they would be entering the tournament. Germany, on the other hand, are getting better and better and better, playing in yet another final despite there being so many relatively young faces on the squad.

So they got one thing right. Which is better than nothing, I guess.

One last game in what has been one of the best World Cups we've seen over the last few decades. Don't disappoint us, World Cup final. You've got all the makings of a good one, so now pressure.

OFFICIAL KICKOFF TIME: 4 P.M. LOCAL TIME, 3 P.M. ON THE EAST COAST, HIGH NOON ON THE WEST COAST
