Game Time Thread: Juventus vs. Bologna

Giuseppe Bellini

For one of the few times in the past couple of weeks, we get to see Juventus playing their game before Roma plays theirs. That means for one of the few times in the past couple of weeks, we won't have to hear the whole mumbo jumbo about how Roma has cut into Juve's lead before our beloved bianconeri get things underway in Turin.

Yep, we're just a few minutes away from Juventus and Bologna stepping onto the Juventus Stadium field for some early-evening football. It may seem odd, but Juve aren't playing on a Monday. Tough to figure out, I know. Damn Europa League screwing with everything.

(Although I'm sure playing for the chance to have the Europa League final be a home game is a pretty decent way to balance things out.)

But for now, Juventus look continue to march towards their third straight Scudetto and subsequent party throughout the streets of Turin. Tonight's opponent, Bologna, won't be doing any sort of celebrating this season due to the fact they're sitting in 17th place right now. Oh, and did I mention how Bologna are trying to not get relegated? So maybe they will be celebrating — not going down to Serie B when the season is over and done with.

Yeah, minor details. Tune in next time for some more inside information courtesy of the folks here at Black & White & Read All Over. You never know when we might help you figure some things out.

Lineups for both Juventus and Bologna will be posted RIGHT HERE when they become available. After hours of wondering about who will or won't play with the Europa League on the horizon, Antonio Conte will finally give us our answers. Hey, that might mean it's Simone Padoin time. Or he could just be continuing his role as the human victory cigar, the player who comes on when the game is just about in the books. We'll see, folks.
