Game Time Thread: Juventus vs. Fiorentina

Claudio Villa

Ah, Fiorentina. You bring back some bad memories. That trip to Florence earlier this season, that wasn't a pretty one.

Want something a little more positive to begin this match thread?

You got it.

Since that stupid day in October, Juventus has yet to lose a Serie A game. Take that, you crazy Fiorentina people! You made Juventus a better team! Indeed, the punch in the face known as Juve's 4-2 loss in Florence proved to the tonic a struggling squad needed to right the ship and show their dominance once more.

Now things come full circle as Fiorentina rolls into Turin for the first of three Juve-Viola battles in a 12-days span.

Let the fun begin.

It's more than just first place against fourth place. Based on what happened in October, Juventus should have one thing on their mind — revenge. Fiorentina are the only team in the league to hand Juventus a loss. And since that loss, Juve have yet to lose a game, ripping off an 18-game unbeaten run and storming towards a historic third straight title.

Not bad, not bad at all.

Forget the 11-point lead atop Serie A. This is about Juventus righting the wrongs, exercising the demons of what happened earlier this season.
