Game Time Thread: Juventus vs. Napoli

Maurizio Lagana

For starters, here's what's happened the first time Juventus and Napoli stepped on the same field for a highly-anticipated game. I think you'll enjoy it. I promise...

See, I told you it'd be some enjoyable viewing. And what do you know — another Andrea Pirlo free kick for a goal. It's like we've seen a couple of those lately or something.

Now that our memory is fresh with Juventus beating Napoli again, we can discuss their next meeting. You know, the one today. The one that will be starting in just a matter of minutes at the San Paolo in Naples. Yeah, that one.

It's not exactly the same kind of circumstances as the first time they played one another. Then, it was first place on the line. This time, it's a matter of how close Juventus will get to clinching the title. That's what happens when you have a lead atop the standings that is in double digits. Not that it's a bad thing. It's only a matter of 'when,' not 'if' Juventus will clinch the Scudetto and have another title parade around the streets of Turin.

The way things are going, that 'when' moment is right around the corner.

And let's be honest, Scudetto parades don't get old. Especially when it involves Juventus tour buses...

With that, I say this: Starting lineups will be posted RIGHT HERE when they become available. Grab your personal Simone Padoin stuffed doll and pull up a chair. It's time to watch Juventus play Napoli. I hope that's pretty clear by now.
