Game Time Thread: Juventus vs. Parma

Maurizio Lagana

In Antonio Conte's stint as Juventus manager, Parma's visit to Turin has usually been associated with one thing — the season beginning. They also just so happened to include Conte's squad going out and beating Parma to a pulp, but they almost always came when summer weather was still around, not when spring

But Parma's visit to Juventus Stadium this season is coming the week before April Fool's Day takes over all of our minds as we try to think of a few pranks to try and pull on our coworkers come next week.

Maybe it's time to take a break from said shenanigan planning and watch some football. Hey, that's a great idea! And it just so happens that Juventus are hosting Parma tonight.

Unfortunately it isn't the donning of a new season. It's almost the exact opposite. There's less than 10 games remaining of the 2013-14 season. And instead of beginning a title defense, Juventus are just about ready to seal things and wrap up a third straight title. That's pretty cool, if you ask me.

Ah, well. At least spring is right around the corner. Oh, and a Scudetto celebration. Everybody loves a Scudetto celebration and the accompanying parade. And even though there's no season-opening win to be had, there's still the opportunity to beat Parma on the home turf.

That sounds grand.

Starting lineups for both Juventus and Parma will be posted RIGHT HERE when they become available. Who's ready to see Amauri return to Turin? If you don't want to answer, you don't have to. It's okay. I won't judge you.
