Game Time Thread: Juventus vs. Cagliari

Ninety minutes remain before Juventus head off to Qatar for a little Supercoppa action against Napoli. That means only two games remain before Juventus can take a well-earned holiday break and open up some presents with family and friends. That must mean the Christmas break is right around the corner.

But there's no really time to relax and open up presents for Juventus. There's still two games to be played — one against a Cagliari squad that hasn't won since the middle of October, the other hours away against a Napoli side who is preparing a contract extension for Secret Agent Rafa and treats the Coppa Italia like it's their Scudetto.

So what you're saying is two winnable games to close out 2014?

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying.

The first, of course, is just a little while from now in Sardinia against Zdenek Zeman and Cagliari's non-existent defense. Just how bad has the Cagliari defense been during their current run of form that has seen them take a tumble down the Serie A table? Well, I'm glad you ask. Here's some from our friends over at the Juventus social media department...

So here's a prediction: Juventus will score a goal because it's Zemanlandia, baby! Time to have some fun.

Starting lineups for both Juventus and Cagliari will be posted RIGHT HERE when they become available. Let's just wait and see how many of those players who are one yellow card away from suspension actually are put in the starting lineup by Max Allegri. You gotta think at least one or two of them will be held back with the Supercoppa against Napoli in mind.
