Game Time Thread: Juventus vs. Roma

Never not relevant.
Never not relevant.
Giuseppe Bellini

For two-plus weeks all we've heard about is Juventus hosting Roma in a battle of the top two teams Serie A has to offer. Juventus this, Roma that. One thing after another, each angle adding another wrinkle to what will be the biggest game of the season to date in all of Italy.

Guess what? The day is here. No more waiting. It's game day. It's #JuveDay once again in Turin.

It's Italy's top team hosting the team closest to them in the Serie A standings. Or, to put it in simpler terms, Roma travels to Turin to try and cut Juventus' lead in half. That's their objective, of course. If that actually happens remains to be seen.

But the game we've been anticipating for months is finally upon us.

So many storylines, so little time to go over them. Antonio Conte vs. Rudy Garcia. Juventus' defense against Roma's defense. The two-time defending champs against their closest competition.

I feel like I can go on and on and on. Maybe I should just tell you to go back and read yesterday's preview ago.

No more talk. It's time for some football.

Oh, and something tells me Conte is going to field the best squad he can. Don't know why, just one of those hunches I occasionally have.
