Game Time Thread: Juventus vs. Sampdoria

With 19 games of the 2013-14 Serie A campaign officially done and out the way, let this sink in: Juventus has only dropped five points all season. That means with 19 games to go, Juve are on pace to record 104 this season. ONE HUNDRED AND FOUR.

Yeah, I know I mentioned it right after the 4-1 win on Sunday against Cagliari, but it deserves to be repeated.

That's good. Really, really, really, really good. Just in case you didn't know that.

Starting today, the officially official beginning of the second half of the season, Juventus look to just continue to hit repeat on the post-Fiorentina debacle world. In other words, Antonio Conte wants to win, win, and win some more. So that means giving their best to make sure Il Mister is talking about a win in his post-game interviews.

Enter today's opponent, Sampdoria.

To get from 11 to 12 straight wins means disposing of Manolo Gabbiadini and his friends. No offense, Manolo, but this is a winning streak at stake. And when it comes to winning, it's probably wise to not upset Don Antonio. You can try, but he might scream at you more than he would at his team after a terrible first half. (Just a guess on that.)
