Game Time Thread: Juventus vs. Chievo

Paolo Bruno

There's no rest for the weary. Nope, definitely this time of the season. Three days after a 2-1 win over Hellas Verona, Juventus are heading on the road to...Verona. Funny how that works out.

Either way, it's Juventus and Chievo on a Wednesday night in Verona. I mean, it could be worse.

Or maybe we should wait for the final score to come in? I don't know.

But this is what I do know: Juventus are coming off a win. Hey, compared to the previous two games, that's a pleasant change of pace. We can complain about the finish in front of goal the past week, but it wouldn't be the first — or last — time we've ventured down the road. For all we know, that path could be worn to the bone after the past couple of seasons.

Right, back to Chievo.

Ya know, the team that's nickname are associated with Donkeys and are currently on the same amount of points as Udinense, AC Milan and Genoa. Yeah, that Chievo, who just claimed its first win of the campaign over the weekend against Udine.

And while we're at it, somebody go find another team from Verona that Juventus can play next. It only seems natural the way the schedule is setup this season. Or maybe not. You can be the judge of that.
