For Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, a journey that started back in the early goings of the season in September has now finally reached its peak at Wembley Stadium in London.
Both German sides certainly deserve to be where they're at. We won't talk about how Bayern got there. Those are a couple of games all of us have decided to forget about. There's just no need to. Actually, I don't know why I keep bringing it up.
Okay, last time. I promise.
Treat this thread like any other game thread if you'd like. It's here for your convenience. Maybe you want to take a break from the transfer rumors and watch one of the final football games of the season before summer kicks into full gear and all we have to supplement our boredom is a Confederations Cup that Italy may or may not care about.
For now, though, it's the grandest stage of them all. Two German rivals facing one another for one giant trophy with two big ears. That's a lot of number references in one sentence. I hope I got all of them correct.
Let's sing it one last time, shall we?
