It's been three weeks since Juve walked into Glasgow dressed in all black and out of there with a 3-0 lead on aggregate. Now we're back in Turin, ready to rock and roll at Juventus Stadium with all signs pointing towards the Old Lady advancing into the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
The atmosphere will be festive. The crowd will be live, singing awesome things.
And hopefully, just hopefully, the squad will adhere to our best wishes and put this tie with Celtic to bed for good sooner rather than later so we don't have to sit around and stress rather than dance around and party. And who doesn't like to party? Ain't no party like a Juventus party...or something like that.
Either way, the reason Juventus have the chance to wrap things up so soon is because of the work they did in Glasgow. And for one, I'm quite thankful for that. I don't know what it would be like if Juve needed a convincing win to the next round of the Champions League. Well, I'm sure it would involve some kind of stomach pains, but that's pretty much a given whenever Juve play in Europe.
Let us thank Antonio Conte even if we already have.
