I feel like we've been here before. Maybe that's because we actually have. It's odd putting up a post like this one for the second day in a row, but I guess we can just blame the stupid weather conditions in Istanbul for that one, huh?
Juventus and Galatasaray played nearly 32 minutes on Tuesday night. Some of those were on a field that was green and looking nice. The others, like the last 15 or so, were played on something that resembled a winter wonderland that was filled with hail and snow.
Now we pick things up with just about 60 minutes left on the game clock and a whole lot riding on what happens over the course of the time remaining. It's almost like Juve are going into a land of the unknown.
How will the Juventus players react to having to fight for their European lives after everything that happened yesterday?
How, exactly, will Galatasaray play things knowing that they can basically go all out for 60 minutes straight?
What the hell is the weather supposed to be like less than 24 hours after a bunch of snow came dumpin' down?
(Hint: There's supposedly going to be more storms in Istanbul. Fantastic!)
We're left wondering about alll of this because of the stupid snow that fell in Istanbul on Tuesday night. I suddenly have a hatred for the snow. This might be forgotten in an hour or two, or the snow will become new thing to absolute despise. It's all dependent on what the final score looks like.
So, Juventus, don't make me hate snow.
