Game Time Thread: Juventus vs. Parma

Claudio Villa

Rumors on the internet suggest that Juventus just celebrated a birthday. And not just any kind of birthday, but one that is up in the triple digits. You know, for a rather old chick, you're looking pretty good, Juventus.

And what a better way to ring in our favorite Old Lady's birthday than with another convincing win?

Before this starts sound like some kind of sick internet joke, I'll get to the point of all of this: It's Juventus game day. Maybe it was the game thread that gave it away. Maybe it was the fact that a preview was posted yesterday. Or maybe it's just the fact that Juve have a game every three or four days these days.

The schedule isn't letting up. So, grab your finest package prosciutto. It's Juventus vs. Parma at the Tardini.

And what does Antonio Conte have to say about a game that has been tricky no matter where Parma are in the league standings? Glad you asked, because here's a quote for you.

"It will be a difficult game on a tough pitch where we've only managed to draw in the last two years. We'll be up against a Parma who have strengthened considerably since last season."

I'm pretty sure Il Mister is talking about the fact that Amauri is again on Parma's roster. We'll have to ask him about that the next time we sit down for a cup or two of coffee.
