Game Time Thread: Italy vs. Denmark/other World Cup qualifiers

Claudio Villa

We now take you to your regularly scheduled football programming. Or, in this case, as close as we can get to watching games that have some kind of meaning.

The latest and greatest (?) international break has finally brought us the first round of games. Whether it's in Europe or South America, World Cup qualifiers will be filling the scoreboards throughout the internet.

Around these parts, Italy has already secured qualification to the big tournament in Brazil next summer during the last round of games. That didn't stop manager Cesare Prandelli from calling the usual gang of Bianconeri representatives to don the Azzurri jersey tonight against Denmark.

But just because Italy has wrapped up their qualification to the 2014 World Cup, there's still plenty of spots up for grabs. And that's what today and next's weeks fixtures are for. Oh what fun we could have!

Or you could read another stupid round of Fernando Llorente and Paul Pogba exit rumors. This time it's Arsenal and Chelsea who are supposed to be interested in the Spanish striker, so there you go. Have your laughs now. The press is starting to run out of clubs that some people will actually believe have an interest.

I mean, it'd be better than a bunch of stupid rumors that we were tired of weeks ago, right? ...RIGHT?
