You know that feeling on the first day of school? No, not doom and gloom because it's school. Think positive, people.
It's a time of the uncertain. You don't know what will come in the future, but you're generating positive thoughts that everything will go the way you want them to. It's a time for new experiences, make some new friends, and take the first step towards what could be a memorable year.
For Juventus, it's time to defend a Scudetto. (Man, that feels good to type.)
And once they arrived at the summer village, it was time to have a training session, of course.
Juventus.com's official recap of the season's first training session:
Juve rounded off the workout by playing an eleven-a-side game on a reduced pitch, minus Arturo Vidal and Paolo De Ceglie. The Chilean carried out extra work in the gym, while the full-back was put through his paces by Massimo Carrera.
Alessandro Matri claimed the honour of the first goals of the season which, alongside Luca Marrone’s close-range strike, handed the team in white a 3-0 victory.
The Bianconeri will return to the training ground tomorrow for morning and afternoon training sessions, at 9.30 a.m. and 5 p.m., respectively.
One more thing to add: Martin Caceres doesn't agree with everybody going low socks to open preseason camp. It's high socks or bust for our favorite Uruguayan.
