Hey, remember the last time Germany and Italy faced off in the semifinals of a somewhat large tournament? You know, it was about six years ago. Anything coming to mind?
Yeah, that day was fun.
It's too bad Fabio Grosso — who, apparently, has spent his free time eating anything in sight — isn't around to curl one just inside the far post just one last time. Actually, now that I think of it, I don't know what he'd actually be able to do in his current physical state. Maybe we can get Federico Balzaretti to emulate the man he succeeded at Palermo?
I dunno, though. I don't know if I can handle another 120-plus minutes of footy like we had on Sunday. Don't tell my doctor this is why I might have heart problems at my next checkup. That would be great, you guys.
But hey, that's what we gotta do, right?
