OFFICIALLY OFFICIAL: Emanuele Giaccherini Doesn't Cost a Lot, But He's Now 100 Percent Juventus

Why this picture? Because it's funny. That's why.

Juventus' official website sez this:

Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that it has terminated in its favour the current player sharing agreement with Cesena S.p.A. (ex art. 102 bis N.O.I.F.) concerning the registration rights of the player Emanuele Giaccherini. The sum for the termination has been set at € 4.25 million that will be paid by Juventus in the next two football seasons.

The contract of employment signed by the player will last until 30 June 2015.

I think we can pretty much agree that we all expected this to happen at some point in the near future. It was just a matter of when the details would be finalized and it would get signed, sealed, and delivered. Giaccherini proved this past season while he was on loan that he is a solid option off the bench in Antonio Conte's squad. And with Juve getting set to play on three fronts next season, the more depth Conte has at his disposal is always for the better. And the price, you gotta like the price. A little over €2 million a seasons for a solid reserve winger? Yeah, sign me up there, people.

Another positive: Giacchomole makes an awesome elf for this year's Juventus Christmas videos on YouTube.

The one problem: Giacchomole doesn't help out Juve's average height ranking.

Hey, you win some, you lose some.
