Coppa Italia Game Time Thread: Juventus vs. Cagliari

New, comments

THE COPPA!!!! Dammit, doesn't have the same ring to it as the Champions League anthem. Welp, at least we tried.

Claudio Villa

Ah, the Coppa Italia. The "other" trophy Juventus are trying to win this season.

It's the forgotten one, isn't it? Although, I'm sure Antonio Conte and the lads haven't forgotten about what happened the last time their team was taking part in the Coppa Italia. Yes, boys. That's motivation.

So now it's the 2012-13 version of the little trophy tournament. And what do ya know, it's against the same Cagliari team that Juventus will be playing in, oh, about eight days. What fantastic timing. I sure hope Conte takes some notes!

Yeah, like he wouldn't prepared. Who am I kidding. So, about the Coppa...

The usual squad rotation taking place: Check.

Antonio Conte back on the sidelines: Check.

Juventus Stadium primed and ready: Check.

All right. I think we're ready to roll. Move along, people! Nothing to see here!

Ha, except for that whole "game" thing that's supposed to kickoff soon. Can't forget about that. Wouldn't be a good idea. I don't suggest it.
