Trezeguet Sold! No wait, he's not. And now he's staying!

Never a dull moment in the mercato with Trezeguet around. Seemingly certainly headed out for what, the 7th mercato in a row, it appears Trez could end up finishing the last year of his (very large) contract with Juventus.

Italy Soccer Europa League

Juventus are considering taking David Trezeguet off the transfer market at the request of new boss Gigi Del Neri. The Frenchman was set to be sold given that he had less than one year remaining on his contract with the Turin giants. Talks with Serie A rivals Napoli have already taken place, but the veteran’s agent has now suggested that Trezegol may stay with the Old Lady. “If it was up to me then Trezeguet would already have joined Napoli,” resident slimebag Antonio Caliendo told anyone who would listen.

“Juventus planned to sell David, but it seems that Del Neri has been impressed by the player during the first part of pre-season which has changed their thinking.” Despite Caliendo’s claim, sources in Turin suggest that Juventus will still listen to offers for the former Monaco player given that he will become a free agent next June.

There were other videos out there, but I chose the one with the bumpin' techno. It's Monday, people.

And impress he has, scoring two goals against representatives from Trentino. Let's not kid ourselves, this isn't even a Serie C1 squad we're talking about, but hey...Amauri didn't score, WITH the captain's armband. Speaking of the captain's armband, Trez refused it before kickoff, leading Legrottaglie to be the captain. Interpret that however you'd like...his agent said it was because he's frustrated with his in-limbo situation right now. Should Trez stay? Go? Voice your opinions below.
