Im so tired I couldn't come up with anything for a slick headline. But tomorrow in Torino at the Stadio Delle Alpi there will be another sweet promotion this time in honor of mothers day. The first 15,000 spectators will recieve an inflatable Juventus heart how cute, and the first 1,500 mothers will receive a rose. For all you math whiz's out there thats a total of 125 dozen roses, a real splurge by Juve promotions. So there you go folks get there quickly as you dont want to miss out on this one.
Team News- As for the actual match, Zanetti has recovered in time to take his place in the midfield, Giannichedda will start on the bench as he is not 100% yet. Camoranesi and Paro out injured, and Nedved out through suspension. This is a big loss because without Nedved and Camoranesi that is a major lack of attacking and crossing that the duo constantly brings. Deschamps will field the usual backline, but a somewhat 3 man midfield and 3 man attack with Palladino taking over Nedved's side of the pitch. He will play further forward in support of Trez and Del Piero. Marchionni, Zanetti, and Marchisio will make up the mdfield which should be solid and hopefully agressive enough to combat with Bologna's. As for Bologna they have a very experienced squad with a veteran attack. Claudio Bellucci is tied with Alessandro Del Piero for the capocannoniere with 16 goals. All around Punk and retread Massimo Marazzina has a respectable 10 goals to compliment Bellucci in attack. The most intriguing player on the team is promising french prospect Mourad Meghni. A few years back in Serie A when the youngster burst onto the scene Juve was linked with the playmaker but nothing developed, hopefully we can still pry him away as I've always liked him. He can be a vital link between the midfielders and the strikers and can be very creative with space so he will be one to watch for. If Bologna do go with a 3 man defence it could be a long day for Antonioli in goal as Juventus will take advantage with Chiellini and Zebina pushing down the wings and having a trio of goalscorers to target. Also Sebastian Giovinco was called up by Deschamps so he may get a spot on the bench, im HOPING he gets a shot to be subbed on in the 2nd to show what he's got.
Outlook- This is a very important match, if Juve wins, Genoa loses, and Napoli doesnt win at Brescia we are OFFICIALY secured a spot in Serie A which will give a lot of well deserved rest to our stars. In any case if our midfield can click and Marchionni show that skill we brought him here for we can control the pitch and the match. Balzaretti may start over Chiellini will be a last minute desicion but either way whoever is in the position will need to push forward. This is also a huge match for Bologna as they look for a Serie A playoff birth so its going to be an intense one at the Olimpico. Prediction - The home crowd and anticipation of the next few weeks should be a huge 12th man .... 2-0 Juventus
