And Krasic said: Let my People Go

And by people, he means himself.

Milos Krasic has apparently given CSKA Moscow an ultimatum to the effect that if they don't sell him to Juventus he will run down his contract and leave for nothing next summer. The Serbia international winger has turned down a move to Manchester City whose offer CSKA accepted earlier this month.

Juventus started talks with the Russian outfit earlier this month and apparently agreed personal terms with the player who really wants to move to Turin. However, CSKA are holding out for €16.5m, a figure which prices him out of Juventus' budget. Yesterday, Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta said that he is prepared to reopen talks with CSKA if they lower their asking price.

Tuttosport understands Krasic is now forcing the issue and was quoted as saying: “I only want to go to Juventus. I will refuse any other opportunity, so try and reach an agreement with them, otherwise I will stay here and leave for free when my contract expires.”

Can't deny the man's ambitions.
